News Lecturers' Presentations 2025 The lecturers' presentations, which were already successfully held last year, are now going into their second round. During the first meeting of this year, several working groups provided exciting insights into their research and possible topics for bachelor's theses. Prof. Bedford (Tectonic Geodesy), Prof. Fonseca, Dr. Dohmen, and Dr. Beyer (Petrology & Geochemistry), Dr. Roth (Earthquake Processes), and Prof. Kranz (Geomorphology & Geohazards) presented their research groups. The event once again provided a valuable opportunity to talk to the lecturers and explore potential thesis topics. Many thanks to the student council for making the lecture series possible again this year! The second event will take place on December 2, this time with Prof. Herwartz (Sedimentary & Isotope Geology, Sedimentary Geochemistry), Prof. Renner (Experimental Geophysics), and Prof. Schreuer (Crystallography).
