Start of your Studies

You can strengthen your basic knowledge of mathematics, chemistry, and physics before starting your studies. To do so, you can enroll in the preparation courses titled “Fundamentals of the Natural Sciences.” You can register via Moodle by September 4, 2026. The password is “GdN2025.”

Alternatively, you can also prepare for your studies by taking advantage of the free resources offered by ORCA.nrw.

The study advisory service advises and supports students in all phases of their studies.

The Geosciences Student Council represents the students of the programme, provides support with questions and problems, and is elected at the beginning of each semester at a plenary meeting.
