Study

The urgent search for renewable energy sources and sustainable protection against natural hazards presents new challenges for the geosciences. At the Institute of Geosciences (IFG) of Ruhr University Bochum, our teaching focuses on understanding processes within the Earth system. In our Bachelor's program, we provide a broad foundation in geosciences, which enables students to pursue targeted specialization in the Master's program or continue into a doctoral degree.
