Research Interests
Research interests and ongoing collaborations
- Medium- to low-temperature deformation and geochronology (Rb-Sr and K-Ar in metasedimentary rocks and fault/shear zone samples)
- Evolution of syn-to post-collisional basins and associated volcanism
- Detrital mineral geochronology (zircon, apatite, white mica)
- Fault gouge dating using K-Ar in illite
- Shape-preferred orientation and strain analysis of sedimentary rocks
- Geological Section restoration and balancing
My research focus is on geochronology and structural geology of upper crust deformation processes in medium-to-low temperature range. I investigate the petrography, fabric, isotopic and geochronology of detrital and metamorphic minerals in deformed metasedimentary rocks and faults.
