Back from the Mountains: Fieldwork done

08/2026: A successful field campaign has been completed in the European Alps for the DFG-funded DenudCarb project. Our research team collected various carbonate samples from the Aare and Rhine Valleys in the Swiss Alps for ESR thermochronometry to understand rock cooling and exhumation rate histories over the (sub)Quaternary period.
